September 16, 2008Dan and Serena keep getting together and breaking up again. Jenny was again fired and rehired. And alas, Nate and Vanessa are still in peril. The only thing changing on Gossip Girl is Chuck’s heart. Who knew he had one? It will be interesting to see where it takes him. Another interesting fact, Ed Westwick, the actor who plays Chuck, is actually British. That so called fake accent was his real voice.
But if you are looking for more heart, watch Privileged on CW 18 tonight at 8:00 p.m. You will not be disappointed. The first episode had great twists and turns. The whole show is one unexpected surprise after another.
September 10, 2008First of all, let me just say it is great to hear from such a dedicated OTH fan. What a way to kick off the new season! I just have to say that this premiere felt more like a finale than a premiere. Am I right?! I'm sure you and the rest of the Tree Hill faithful will agree that this season looks to be one of the most interesting yet. Now, into your talking points:

I'm still not sure why all of these girls are soooo into brooding Lucas to begin with after all the drama he's brought into Tree Hill, but I'll overlook that. Personally, I was hoping to see Brucas and not Layton, but that's just me. Peyton was looking great in the premiere, and they do make a good couple. Let's just hope the nonsense drama can end for a bit and they can be a happy little couple and call it a day. However, if we've learned anything about Tree Hill it's that wedding fireworks will certainly be seen and heard. Stay tuned...
Poor Brooke. I would put money on yet another evil betrayal by Victoria. Like you, I'm thinking hiring a thug to vandalize the store and steal the designs isn't beneath her.
I'm pumped for the return of nanny Carrie. While I wouldn't wish such treatment on anyone, Dan certainly is getting a taste of some of his own medicine and then some. With as demented as he can be, one would almost think that Carrie is his perfect foil and maybe partner in crime. LOL. Now you probably think this Insider is crazy as well, but just think about it.... What kind of chaos could the DUO bring upon Tree Hill?!
And finally, Skillz and his cougar, Deb. I think they kinda rock as a couple. The shadiness and sneaking around behind a friend/son's back is only going to complicate things and get messy, so THAT needs to end. This storyline should bring some humor and lightheartedness to an otherwise scandalous and soon to be tragic season. Tune it Monday nights at 8 to see what happens next!!!
September 9, 2008OMG! Nate’s new lady is Blair’s boyfriend’s stepmother. How is that going to play out? It is clear that Chuck still wants Blair even though he is the one who let her go. What will Nate do about Vanessa? Personally, I feel bad for Vanessa but with Nate indebted to the duchess, there is no way Vanessa can win him over.
There is so much drama on the CW this season! I haven’t even started on One Tree Hill. Don’t miss 90210 and the series premiere of Privileged tonight!

Chuck loves Blair and they may just be perfect for each other but I’m not sure Chuck wants to be perfect. But neither does Blair. What will Jenny do, having to work for Blair’s Mom? Summer may spell romance for Nate & Serena again. No one else seems to have it together. And starting tonight you can catch it all from the beginning. Now, that you know the story who knows what you might find this time around? Tell your friends who missed out, now they can catch up.
May 19, 2008Well, it looks like Serena has come full circle on this season of Gossip Girl. She has gone from good to bad and back again. Serena felt guilty about Pete but it seems that Georgina is the culprit. Now Georgina is going to steal Dan and more. At least Serena has great friends. Who knew Chuck, Nate & Blair would pull together? But can they defeat the evil Georgina before it is too late? I think Dan may turn into a bad boy himself. Can you blame him after Serena’s lie? And what is up with Rufus and Lily? That was quite a kiss on the eve of Lily’s wedding.
Don’t miss the season finale of Gossip Girl tonight! I’m sure it will be the wedding of the year. That is if there is a wedding. XOXO
May 15, 2008Did you see the Beauty & the Geek finale on Tuesday?! It was sad to see Matt and Leticia go right away but the challenge for the final two did get interesting. And when all the contestants returned to the mansion Kristina started tons of drama. But in the end Tommy was not tainted by the temptress that is Amber, leading him and Amanda to victory over Chris and Cara. I hate to say it but I’m going to miss Beauty & the Geek.
Good thing there is still enough drama to go around on the season finale of Gossip Girl Monday!
May 12, 2008The Gossip is getting good on Gossip Girl! Everything is coming out. Blair is a bigger back stabber than anyone and Jenny is back to being a good girl. Too bad others are beginning to be haunted by their horrible past. Does that mean that they are still horrible people? Who did Serena kill and why is Georgina trying to steal Dan? She is getting back at Serena for something but what? More details surface tonight at 7 PM on Gossip Girl.
Joe and Tara are gone at last. The final three are the ones that should be! Who will be eliminated immediately this Tuesday? It’ll depend on who really knows their partner. We'll have to see who wins and who fights for the love of a geek!? It is all over Tuesday night!
May 5, 2008At first, it seems that age does come before beauty where Blair and Jenny are concerned. But Jenny’s new boyfriend may escalate the popularity war. I have a feeling this new man is not as good as he seems. Another question does arise. Will beauty come before brains with Serena and Dan? Brains seem to have won out where Vanessa and Nate are concerned. The pair has formed a more than friendly relationship over SAT prep. More secrets and lies surround Serena and Georgina. Only time will tell what will be revealed. I can’t wait to see what comes out tonight.

BTW, did you see Jim’s make-over on Beauty and the Geek last week? He looked like an entirely different person! On Tuesday a Geek crush may change the game when the group heads to Big Bear.
April 21, 2008OMG! All new Gossip Girl tonight at 7 p.m. Blair is back at school even though she has lost her throne to Little J. Jenny has broken some rules to become Queen Bee but she may be breaking some laws too. Serena is now living with step-brother Chuck. Unfortunately, that is the least of her worries once she starts receiving mysterious packages. All the drama starts fresh tonight on CW 18!
And did you see Beauty & the Geek last week? Leticia competed in both challenges because of Matt’s injury and Tommy was the winning hero. Tara and Joe actually defended each other! Alas, they still went to elimination because Tara didn’t make the greatest effort in her challenge. But they survived, sending Randi and Greg home. We are all going to miss Greggy. This Tuesday catch a Beauty and the Geek special with tons of highlights, never before seen footage and a special makeover. Start the week right with two hot nights of TV on CW 18!
April 14, 2008The Geeks finally got their make-overs! The biggest changes were definitely Matt & Joe. But first I must address my favorite Geek, Tommy. I thought Tommy was cute before the make-over but now he is getting a little cocky. And he’s not the only one. Did you see Matt at that party dancing with all sorts of girls while Leticia was telling guys she was there with someone? I’m glad that Matt and Leticia won that challenge but she is the only one actually willing to touch her geek so there was really no contest. Finally, there is Joe, who looks great but hates his make-over. That is why even though no one went home last week, he and Tara are definitely in the elimination room this week. But will they go? This week the geeks become firemen while the beauties are garbage women. There is also some practical joking in the house which may cause a geek to lose his new found cool.
Get excited! All new episodes of Gossip Girl start next week! OMG! I can’t wait!
April 7, 2008The first Beauty & the Geek couple were sent packing. I don’t think that the right couples were sent to the elimination room, but I am glad that Jim and Tiffany was the pair to go. This week we will see what we’ve all been waiting for, the geek makeovers! But even better, the teams will be on the soap “The Young and the Restless” getting love scene advice from the show’s stars. That should be good!
March 31, 2008The Insider loves drama and there was a healthy dose of it on last week’s reality show Beauty & the Geek. The beauties finally bonded over a game of football but that doesn’t matter because Beauty & the Geek is back up to its old tricks with the beauties finally being paired with geeks. It was a tense moment when Tiffany picked Jim. Who was she supposed to pick and who will Tara pick? She did not seem happy with her options. Personally, I hope she picks Jonathan because it may be time for Joe to go. But I may not get my wish. Either way one couple is going home on Tuesday. One beauty will have to take last place at the science fair. Do you think any of the geeks will meet success with Dr. Drew on the radio? I can’t wait to see who makes the grade on Tuesday!
March 24, 2008 Thanks for the email, Alexis. First of all, OTH has definitely been getting exciting in the last few weeks. I really think the advancing the characters' lives by four years has really given the show a whole new feel and breath of fresh air. As for our main characters' relationship woes, I think Haley needs to chill out and Lindsey needs to take a hike. Nathan, other than poor judgment calls especially in the beginning of their relationship, has always had his heart in the right spot--with his wife and now his child. She, after all, is the one that ran off to chase her dreams (not to mention one Chris Keller). She's quick to call him out for simply trying to save her some worry about Nanny Carrie (though he should have definitely tossed her out the door when her inappropriate behavior continued), but it's funny how she neglects to see it's her who has basically been the prime suspect for causing doubt in their relationship. She'll come to her senses I'm thinking, and it doesn't look like Nathan is looking to stray anytime soon.
Now, as for one Lucas Scott, that boy needs to figure out what he really wants and stop messing around and being all pouty when things don't go perfectly for him. He doesn't seem to even know what he really wants, considering all of his friends tend to see and know before he does. Lindsey is right to doubt his true feelings and commitment to her -- and she doesn't even know his history of tending to fall for the first available girl that's in his life. It may just be me, but he seems like a settler. He needs to go for what he REALLY wants and not stray. He did overreact a bit with P. Sawyer's rejection of his proposal, but she's too hot and cold to waste time on in my opinion. Fans love them together for the most part, but I find her to be too wishy washy and whiny to deal with at this point in the game. She was crying about Lucas saying he wanted to spend his life with Lindsey, but did she forget she wanted to get hitched and play house with Jake and his daughter Jenny a few years earlier?! If I'm Lucas I find a new love interest or go back to Brooke Davis, cuz let's face it--as of late, she's probably the most stable, she wants a family, and is rich as all get go. lol My prediction based soley on all of those Layton fans out there's desires is we'll see the Ross and Rachel of Tree Hill end up together. Time will tell. It is Tree Hill and crazy drama always seems to find a way to come out on top and keep things interesting. March 17, 2008I want to know what you think of this new Beauty & the Geek format of beauties vs. geeks. I’m still waiting for it to grow on me and I’m waiting for more episodes. Next week the competition is a talent show. Will the beauties be able to strut their stuff again and send another geek packing? It looks like some of the geeks are getting more than competition. There seems to be a lot of flirting going on in the mansion. I think Tommy our sweater vest loving geek and the second geek to strike an alliance may get a lot more out of the deal than Joe did. March 10, 2008Beauty & the Geek is back! And this time there is another new twist. The beauties will be competing against the geeks not with them. There will be a whole new level of competition. Can brains beat beauty? We’ll find out tomorrow, Tuesday March 11th at 7 p.m. You won’t want to miss this all new season of one of my reality favorites Beauty & the Geek. February 25, 2008Many of you may have heard over the past few weeks that the CW show, Girlfriends, will not be returning with new episodes. This was supposed to be the show's last season and with the writers' strike, the CW has decided not to resume production on this show. Girlfriends' creator, Mara Brock Akil, is in talks with the CW to possibly do a retrospective show to bring this landmark comedy to a formal end. I will keep you posted on, if and when that may be airing. In the meantime, you can catch all your favorite episodes of Girlfriends at its new time, Sundays at 8:30 p.m., starting March 23rd right here on CW 18.

February 11, 2008I’ve been reading all of your e-mails and I have good news. Brenda, don’t worry. Everybody Hates Chris has not been canceled! The CW has moved its entire Monday night line up to Sunday night. Here’s another nice little note for you. Everybody Hates Chris shot their entire season before the writers’ strike began, so you’ll be getting lots of new episodes. Tune in every Sunday night to catch Chris at 7 p.m. followed by Aliens in America, Girlfriends and The Game.
Also, Valentine’s Day is Thursday, so all this week and next week at 10 p.m. it is Love & Marriage on King of Queens!

Last week's Gossip Girl was all pool parties and punishments. This week it is pregnancy tests. Serena is spotted buying one but is it for her? I don't think Serena is having Dan's baby. It is Blair who has the problem. Not only could she be pregnant but who is the father? It could be Nate or Chuck. Where does that leave Blair?

December 12, 2007I am loving all your e-mails! I wouldn't have used the word dreamy to describe our station but I appreciate the compliment as does everyone here at CW 18. But I also received a question. It took some digging but I got all the dirt. So, yes, there are other characters from the DC Comic Universe that are going to appear on Smallville. They include Kara Zor-El or Kara Kent, best known as Supergirl, Lara Jor-El, Clark's Mom and Oliver Queen who is the Green Arrow. And that is not all. We will also see John Jone's Martian Manhunter, Dinah Lance's Black Canary and, of course, Milton Fine who we all know is Braniac. So don't miss Smallville Thursdays at 7 p.m. or my personal favorite Gossip Girl. Next week's Christmas themed Gossip Girl has more surprises than Thanksgiving and we know how that turned out. Let me tell you, there will be nothing like watching Blair meet her Dad's boyfriend.

Last week we got all the gossip from Thanksgivings past. Who knew that Serena was an alcoholic, Blair had an eating disorder and Dan had saved Serena once already? Too bad she doesn't remember. The dish only gets better Wednesday. Trust me. Not only does Jenny defy her parents, but Blair and Chuck discover that there may be more to their relationship. Oh and did I mention that Serena goes out with another guy after fighting with Dan.

November 19, 2007Although last week's Gossip Girl was great, the Insider has been reading your e-mails and now I know that you want more than just the 411 on Gossip Girl. You don't have to tell me that the CW has other great shows. Many of you expressed sadness over your favorites departing Beauty & the Geek. I couldn't agree more. Since you asked my opinion I have to say that at this point I'm rooting for David and Jasmine, but I have a feeling Sam and Nicole are going to win it all. Is it fair if the male beauty and female geek take it all? Does their different pairing give them an advantage? What do you think? Who are your remaining favorites? I want to hear from you!

October 26, 2007It is amazing what we hide behind our masks. Dan revealed himself to Serena only to hurt his old flame, Vanessa. But Vanessa got his little sister into the masquerade ball. Jenny is getting good at playing Blair’s game, but will she, too, be found out? Personally, I can’t wait to find out more secrets.
October 19, 2007The Humphreys have found their way into a new world. Dan has even sealed it with a kiss. But has Jenny beaten Blair at her own game or will Little J still have to pay? Someone told the insider that Dan may not be welcome in Serena’s world quite yet especially since Serena and Blair’s renewed friendship may be BS, at least on B’s end. It looks like a lot will come out at next week's party.
